In our 25/26 season deep roots, wild sounds, mycelium new music invites you into a living musical network. With 3 performances across the city of Chicago, we continue our mission of creating imaginative, multidisciplinary performances of contemporary music.

But we can’t put on this exciting season without your support - we hope you'll consider making a tax-deductible donation. Thanks to the support of our fiscal sponsor, International Foundation for Contemporary Music, 100% of your donation will go directly to supporting the costs of our performances: payment for artists, documentation of our work, airfare for guest artists and composers, and more.

Highlights of our 25/26 season include:
  • a show with the pioneering composer-performer Pamela Z
  • our rhizome project, featuring three rising star composers from around the country
  • a program exploring connections between folk traditions and contemporary classical music
  • the inaugural performance of our s.p.o.r.e. chamber music series
  • collaborations with guest artists including soprano Kristina Bachrach and yangqin player Cheng Jin Koh.
